Rain
She’s a fairy from the ocean
With clouds concealing her magic portion
Paints the World with a shower of pearls
Rain descends, with thunder &lightening, her obedient earls
It revitalizes nature
From birds, tress to every adsorbing creature
Makes us blind with a wet veil of bliss.
Leaves a lasting impression
Like a kiss, from a beautiful miss.
All is fine
Till it gets torrential
Villages submerge, as rivers breach the line.
Children left stranded without food and bare essential.
Sewers overflowing, roads clog
Everything is slimy & grubby.
As if living in a bog.
She’s the epidemic
She’s the cure
A friend you can never be sure.
A paramour you can’t live with
Or without it.
Yet every time riding on zephyr.
Drops of water fall on your face.
One feels revived from worldly mire.
